We connect experts of the film industry and anyone who wants to access it with the intent of networking, providing technical and thematic support for the realization of film projects.
We foster the visibility and circulation of works – still marginalized – by women and people of all gender and sexual orientations that respect the ethics of the model of cinema we want to promote.
We do this both within CinematograFica’s projects (Mai Mute and Educatə) and through distribution mediation and independent distribution of films presented within the programming of cinemas and festivals.
We collaborate with festivals such as Entre dos Mundos, Florence Queer Festival, Presente Italiano, Porretta Film Festival, Some Prefer Cake, Sicilia Queer Film Fest, N.I.C.E Festival and Karama Film Festival.
These collaborations are intended to create spaces for reflection on feminism and the gender gap in cinema, and to support screenings of independent films that in their production process as much as in the representation of the chosen subjects convey and amplify CinematograFica’s values.
In the year 2024, we made distribution alliances with films about collective care and community with CareSeekers by Teresa Sala, about legality, rights and identity with Lala by Ludovica Fales, about sexuality, prejudice and struggling bodies with About Last Year by Dunja Lavecchia, Beatrice Surano, Morena Terranova.
