CinematograFica educates on gender issues, equal rights, and the prevention of gender-based violence through an intersectional approach, with particular attention to schools, urban peripheries, and marginalized situations, both in Italy and around the world.
We design interactive lessons for groups of all ages and professions, within schools, universities, and companies.
Our lessons, which delve into feminist topics using cinema as an educational tool, consist of screenings of audiovisual products, workshops, and multimedia activities specifically customized for age groups, themes, and contexts.
The films we screen foster our model of cinema as a means to build a more equitable society that can guarantee and protect the rights of all.
Since 2021, we have been conducting lessons at various levels of compulsory schools in Italy, also thanks to our project Educate, an educational initiative supported by the Ministry of Education.
In the fall of 2024, we began collaborating with FIT NY, Fashion Institute of Technology, offering two workshops on “Cinema and Feminism” at their Florence and Milan campuses for students, in partnership with Kali Swaid.
As part of our project Educate, the first feminist training course for teachers was launched in 2024—taught alongside Karen Ricci, an expert trainer in Inclusion & Diversity and founder of the digital activism project “Cara sei maschilista” (Dear, you’re a misogynist).

We collaborate with schools, cultural associations, festivals, NGOs, international cooperation projects, companies, and workplaces dedicated to promoting gender equality.
